Sweet Home Season 2 Trailer
The recently unveiled trailer provides a glimpse into a decrepit stadium, likely the backdrop for the upcoming second season. It teases an intriguing narrative, contrasting with the first season’s focus on the Green Home apartment inhabited by monsters. This time, our protagonists find themselves pitted against the entire world.
The Sweet Home season 2 trailer reveals the residents’ exodus from Green Home as they establish a new community within the stadium’s confines. A haunting scene unfolds as a chained and bloodied Song Kang, portraying Hyun-Su, emerges from a cage. He peers into a dim, isolated chamber where a voice beckons from above, asking, “We meet at last. Cha Hyun-Su, are you the savior who can end all this?”
Gradually, the focus shifts to the characters confronting fresh perils in the form of monstrous entities from the outside world, all while grappling with their own inner demons. The frantic scramble of people within buildings, desperately shielding themselves from the encroaching monsters, takes center stage, promising a pulse-pounding viewing experience.
The trailer culminates with the revelation that Song Kang’s character will undergo a new experiment under the code name MH-5. He also wields the antidote that could hold the key to resolving the crisis.

The trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse of fellow cast members, including Lee Jin-Uk and Go Min-Si. The ensemble also features talents such as Lee Si-Young, Jung Jin-Young, Yoo Oh-Seong, Oh Jung-Se, Kim Moo-Yeol, and Park Gyu-Young. Steering the production are directors Lee Eung-Bok and Park So-Hyeon, with Studio Dragon and Studio N at the helm.
Director Lee Eung-Bok characterizes the series as a “full-fledged apocalyptic drama,” confirming that the second season will unfold in an expansive, open setting with fresh faces and adversaries, a departure from the inaugural season’s locale.
Actor Lee Jin-Uk echoes this sentiment, asserting, “This season will unveil a world that diverges from the original webtoon. With the world expanding, there will be more to contemplate.” Co-star Lee Si-Young promises character evolution, emphasizing, “A vastly expansive world awaits the characters after they depart Green Home. Everyone will undergo significant transformations.”
The official synopsis for Sweet Home season 2 sets the stage: “In a world where desire turns monstrous, Sweet Home season 2 follows Green Home survivors and Hyun-su, each fighting to survive in new places, while other beings and mysterious phenomena emerge.”
Although there’s no official word on the release format, it’s highly likely that, akin to season 1, all episodes will drop simultaneously. This promises an ideal binge-watching experience for dedicated fans of the series.
